What's new in FS Ozone 1.2.2

• Trial: new "Enter a licence key" button under the countdown and in Options, Licence section. No need to uninstall or wait for the trial to end.
• Key already active on all its PCs: the message shows the count (5/5) and our Discord link to free a seat.
• Left menu: Discord and Community web under Options. Four favourites shown.
• Patch note in Options, in four languages.
• Setup: a box to install the colour tables (.cube) or not..

• Black screen at launch for some users with DLSS frame generation: we are investigating. A similar issue has been reported online with other software than Ozone. Meanwhile, turning off DLSS frame generation in the simulator lets Ozone start. We are working on a fix.

What's new in FS Ozone 1.2.1

• The Ctrl+Alt+F keyboard shortcut now turns both fisheyes off and on together, Horizontal fisheye and Fisheye. Handy to turn a cockpit knob, since with a fisheye the mouse no longer lands exactly on it. It keeps your slider values and gives them back.

• Setup now checks whether Windows compatibility settings are set on FlightSimulator2024.exe, such as "Disable fullscreen optimizations". With them, Windows loads its own version.dll into the simulator before FS Ozone, so the image effects never run. Setup tells you, and shows you which boxes to untick in the Compatibility tab of the simulator's properties. It does not change them for you. • The user manuals in all four languages explain the new Ctrl+Alt+F shortcut, and have a new question in Frequently asked questions: "The Studio works, but nothing changes in the simulator".

• New “Horizontal fisheye” slider at the top of Lens, above Fisheye. The horizon stays straight and the lines above and below it curve towards the sides. The centre of the image stays pixel for pixel, so text stays sharp, and no black border ever appears. It works on its own or together with Fisheye.
• New keyboard shortcut to turn the horizontal fisheye on and off while you fly, Ctrl+Alt+F by default. You can change it in Options, under Keyboard shortcuts. It keeps your slider value and gives it back.
• FS Ozone Studio now opens in its own window, built into Windows (WebView2). It no longer depends on Microsoft Edge or Google Chrome being installed.
• If that window component is missing, Setup installs it for you. It needs an internet connection, and Setup tells you if it could not download it.
• Double-clicking a public theme in Community now downloads it if needed and applies it right away. Before, the tile turned green but the image did not change.
• Double-clicking a theme in the Community pinned row on the home page now applies it too, instead of only downloading it.
• A theme made with an older version now looks the same whatever theme was applied before it: sliders it does not include go back to neutral.
• REX Atmos joins ReShade and OptiScaler in “Created with” when you make a theme. It shows as a blue badge under the theme description.
